Investment Criteria
Beginning with the acquisition of Clearwater House, an empty office building in Stamford, CT, in 1991, Clearview has sought to acquire assets that have been undervalued, overlooked, complex or mispriced. Where others see distress, the firm sees an opportunity to realize and add significant value. With a focus on hospitality and real estate properties, Clearview has also invested in a wide range of asset classes from food & beverage outlets, recreational transportation, and luxury consumer products. Historical capitalization per investment ranges from $10mm - $50mm.
